Welcome to Reelfoot Lake! We thank the Lord for the opportunity to hunt and enjoy waterfowling on this wonderful creation....some say the 8th Wonder of the World. Reelfoot Lake was formed by the great earthquake of 1811. The Mighty Mississippi River flowed backwards south to north to overflow and flood the swamp grounds of which now we know as Reelfoot Lake. We are in the heartbeat of the Mississippi Flyway which also receives waterfowl from the Atlantic Flyway. During the waterfowl season, the migration of ducks consists of 300,000 plus, at times, in the Reelfoot region of Northwest Tennessee.
